In the manufacturing plant, starting from strains, we execute and we guarantee all stages of development of raw material and bacterial starters until the freeze-drying, through a controlled fermentation and accurate separation system of living cells.

The manufacturing plant received authorization by the Local Health Authority (ASL) for food production, by the Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) for the production of medical devices and by the Italian Agency of Medicines (AIFA) for the production of pharmacologically active raw materials.

In addition to its patented strains, PROGE FARM obtained the authorization to produce even Lactobacillus rhamnosus ATCC®53103 ™. That is further evidence of the Company’s competence and reliability of its production plant.
