PROGE FARM was founded in 1992 as a company that mainly deals with consultancy in the area of regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance. Today these activities are held by the associated company PROGE MEDICA.
In 1995 we obtained the first registration of generic drugs which has been marketed through our own network of sales agents.
In 2001 we opened our own research laboratory to select probiotic bacteria, inside the Technology Centre of Novara.
At the same time we started working out-licensing: licensing and supplies worldwide exclusive products.
Since 2010, PROGE FARM produces its bacterial strains in its GMP manufacturing plant.
Scientific Partnership
PROGE FARM works closely together with the University of Novara and has several collaborations with the scientific world, in particular with the University of Piemonte Orientale, University of Torino, University of the “Sacro Cuore” of Piacenza, the University of Pavia, the University of Bologna and the National Research Council (CNR).
Since 2007 PROGE FARM has been involving into the organization of the Master’s Degree in “Regulatory Affairs and Market Access in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology” of the University of Piemonte Orientale, and is part of the Scientific Committee and the Board of Directors of the same Master.
